Egy éve már... Sandra L. Cann emlékére/ It's been a year... In Loving Memory of Sandra L. Cann

It's been a year since my husband's mother passed away. She was fighting hard against cancer, with amazing stamina, strength and patience, she never showed anybody how she was feeling, and she always believed that she could get over the disease. Unfortunately this fight was lost May 1st, 2011.
She had four children and eight grandchildren. Out of her grandchildren my daughter is the youngest. They met personally just once, because we are living in Hungary and she was in America. Skyler was one and half years old when we visited her in Florida. By that time we already knew that the problem was huge, but we still believed that she could win against the cancer. Losing her is a big heartache but at the same time, knowing that she could hold her youngest grandchild at least  once, made me happy.
One of Nana's grandchildren, Autumn, has been dancing for a while, and her first dance competition ever was dedicated in memory of her Nana.
The family asked me to make a memorial page, they gave me some instructions of what they wanted to put in the picture. According to their descriptions and my vision, the final picture was this. And I hope that this can be my part of the commemoration, as well.
