American Saturday Night

Tudom, Magyarországon nem igazán népszerű a country zene, de én nagyon szeretem, és ahogy a hétvégén elnéztem sokan vagyunk még így ezzel. Férjemmel meghívást kaptunk egy nagyon kedves barátunktól az Országos Linedance és Country Fesztiválra. Ő és egy barátja az idén negyedik alkalommal szervezték meg ezt a rendezvényt, egyre nagyobb sikerrel. Az ország különböző pontjairól - sőt még küldföldről is - érkeztek linedance klubbok, hogy az egynapos show keretében bemutassák tudásukat. Az eseményen több zenekar is fellépett, köztük az Új Bojtorján együttes. Az ő zenéjük nagyon kedves nekem, hiszen ezen nőttem fel, és azon szerencsés helyzetben vagyok, hogy korábban a zenekar vezetőjét, Pomázi Zoltánt személyesen is megismerhettem.
Az este során - hirtelen ötlettől vezérelve - készült néhány fotó a barátainkról, igaz csak mobil telefonnal. Gondoltam elküldöm nekik, de a minőség hagyott némi kívánnivalót maga után, ezért kaptak egy kis "tuningot". :)

The country music is not too popular in Hungary, but I really like it and looking at the people - who came to the event in the weekend - I am not the only one. My husband and I got an invitation to the "Országos Linedance és Country Fesztivál" from our friend. He and his friend organized this event for the fourth year in a row. It was a one-day show where the linedance clubs showed their performances. There were a couple of Hungarian bands who played country music, my favourite was "Új Bojtorján". I grew up listening to their music, and I am in that lucky situation that I know the leader of the band (Zoltán Pomázi) personally.

During the night some pictures were taken of our friends by a cell phone. I wanted to send them but I wasn't really satisfied with the quality, so I put some design around the pictures.
